TFF.Rudolstadt – Germany’s biggest folk, roots and world music festival – takes place annually on the first full July weekend. It lasts 3 days (or rather 55 hours with no break) and presents more than 60 bands on more than 20 stages. 2010 will be the 20th edition from 2nd to 4th of july.

2010 anniversary edition will, besides musicians from all five continents, present: a focus on European Broadcasting Union, as Country Special "Ethiopia", the „magic concert” with master musicians on TRUMPETS, and as dance of the year STEP DANCES.

Further highlights include the German World Music Award RUTH, the children’s festival, the instrument centre, chill out night, various workshops, seminars and exhibitions and an extensive street music programme in the city of Rudolstadt.

Following the ‘tradition’ of the last four years, an extra concert
is planned again for Thursday, July 3rd, in the courtyard of
Rudolstadt’s baroque Heidecksburg.
